STUDY ON THE RELATIONS OF STANDARD NOISE TEST PROCEDURES FOR MOTORCYCLES
Four standard noise test procedures, ISOR362, ISOR362 revision, SAEXJ331A, and Jaso of Japan are reviewed, giving the tolerances allowed for test conditions in each case. Test measurements for motorcycles from each procedure are compared with measured noise levels under real driving conditions, to determine the deviations due to tolerances. Test procedures referring to motorcycles in urban conditions are evaluated. /TRRL/
