TESTS IN FRANCE AND OTHER COUNTRIES ON LATERAL FRICTION IN FOUNDATIONS: IMPROVEMENT THROUGH INJECTION
ESSAIS EN FRANCE ET A L'ETRANGER SUR LE FROTTEMENT LATERAL EN FOUNDATION: AMELIORATION PAR INJECTION.
The author recalls that the injection under pressure of a cement grout round a tube or an Anchorage tie placed in a borehole forms a sealing sleeve while improving the properties of the surrounding soil and the mechanical characteristics of the grout. A comparison is made of results obtained with injection under and without pressure. Numerous experimental results are tabulated. /TRRL/
