HYDROFOIL VEHICLE ASSESSMENT
This study develops a methodology for assessing hydrofoil vehicle performance. "Hypothetical" hydrofoil vehicles are designed using flexible programs which produce rapid designs. Assessment is then performed using the merit criteria: 1) speed, 2) payload mass, 3) payload volume, 4) endurance, and 5) constraints on payload location.
