INFORMATION SERIES - GROUP 2: DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION OF TRANSPORTATION FACILITIES--OR--GROUP 3: OPERATION AND MAINTENACE OF TRANSPORTATION FACILITIES

The first issue of this loose leaf publication was dated December 1970 and contained specifications on characteristics of bituminous materials. Issue number 2 was dated June 1972 and contained a summary of TRB committee activities related to pavement management technology. Issues numbered 3, 4 and 5 dated July 1972, March 1974 and June 1976 respectively contained status reports on agency use of photogrammetry and aerial surveys. The most recent issue, numbered 6, dated September 1976 is a bibliography of 404 references on joint and crack sealing. The number of pages in each issued ranges from 10 to 45. The issues are distributed without charge to members of appropriate TRB committees, panels task forces and other selected organizations. A limited number of back issues are available. The Information Series provides a mechanism whereby very specific or narrow range information within the broader subject area of design and construction of transportation facilities can be distributed to a limited interest audience.
