ANNUAL REPORT OF THE TRANSPORTATION RESEARCH BOARD

This publication which reviews the Regular Technical Activities, Special Projects, Administrative Activities, and Cooperative Research Programs, also lists the officers, executive committee and members of the Board. The activities are describes of the groups on transportation systems planning and administration, design and construction of transportation facilities, operation and maintenance of transportation facilities, and legal resources. The work of the research information and the publication of syntheses of current highway practice are described. The National Cooperative Highway Research Program and the Transit Research Program operations are outlined. Conferences and workshops held in the past year are noted.
