STUDY ON FULL-SCALE EXPERIMENT OF MODULUS OF RESILIENCE OF GRANULAR MATERIALS IN THE BASE BED COURSE
It is pretty difficult to express the deformed properties of the modulus of resiliences of granular materials due to its complicated mechanics performances. Therefore, the modulus of resiliences cannot be regarded as a constant while making a mechanics analysis of the granular materials in the base bed course. In this paper, the regression relationship model between the modulus of resiliences and thickness of the granular layer and the modulus of foundation (underlying layer) is established based on full-scale experiment. The model can be used for mechanics analysis of the nonlinearity of pavement structures, the road bed of railways and sand-gravel subgrades.
