A METHOD FOR THE LOCATION OF LINE OF CLASS 2 HIGHWAY USING TRAVERSE NETWORK

A method for the location of line of class 2 highway by using traverse point position in the traverse network is proposed in this paper. Collocation of traverse point can be used both as the coordinate reference point in surveying the highway and the control point of alignment in the location of the line. Location of the line on paper and field layout can be performed by using the traverse map instead of the topographic map. This method can save the time of measuring the topographic map as well as improve the quality of alignment. It has proved to be a good method in practical work.
