PRICING IN URBAN AND SUBURBAN TRANSPORT
The article states that in no major area are pricing practices so irrational, so out of date, and so conducive to waste as in urban transportation. Two aspects are particularly deficient: the absence of adequate peak-off differentials and the gross underpricing of some modes relative to others.
