ACQUISITION OF LAND FOR JOINT HIGHWAY AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT. EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The study deals with one aspect of the complex joint development question -- land acquisition. More specifically, the focus is on the feasibility of expanding land acquisition for highways and other public facilities or otherwise using surplus land acquired in connection with these facilities for complementary private and public development.
