REGRESSION ANALYSIS ON HIGHWAY EMBANKMENT FILLING STRENGTH AND RELATIVE FACTORS
The strength of clay is mainly affected by water content, dry unit weight and porosity ratio. There are uncertain relations among them. Through the regression analysis of data of above three factors, their linear relations-linear regression equation is worked out by means of statistics in this paper. It is pointed out that water content has greater influence on the strength of embankment than dry unit weight and porosity ratio. The strength of embankment can be effectively controlled by measuring and controlling the above three factors during the course of embankment construction.
