NONLINEAR FINITE ELEMENT ANALYSIS AND STUDY ON UNBONDED PRESTRESSED CONCRETE BEAM
A nonlinear finite element method is developed to study the behaviors of Unbonded Prestressed Concrete (U.P.C) beam. Through the establishments of various material analysis modes, a program is made to analyse U.P.C test beams by means of finite element method. The results of finite element analysis coincide well with those of test beams. Based on the analysis of some factors which are considered to influence ultimate flexural strength and shearing strength of U.P.C beam, a practical calculation formula is put forward.
