DISCUSSION ON RATIONAL PLANNING OF HIGHWAY NETWORK OF SHENGZHEN CITY

A synthetic traffic network is proposed to overcome the existing problems of the highway network of Shengzhen city in this paper. Possible changes of relative factors of trans-century highway network of the city are analysed. A design target is proposed based on the forecasted communication volume and traffic volume. Principles and methods of the highway network planning are introduced. Finally, a rational planning of arterial highway network of the city is provided.
