EVALUATION OF THE COX DEFLECTION DEVICES
An evaluation of two dynamic deflection devices development by Cox and Sons, Inc., Colfax, California, is reported. These devices were compared to our presently used deflection devices (Deflectometer and Dynaflect) on roadway structural sections (State Highway and City Streets). Additional testing was performed at the San Jose Municipal Airport to evaluate the equipment on heavily constructed structural sections and obtain deflection correlations with a massive deflection measuring device owned by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, the WES device. /Author/
