The Federal Railroad Administration is committed to doing business in a new way. This new Strategic Plan is FRA's guide to the future and is designed to be user friendly, customer focused, results oriented and a guide for the development of competitive rail transportation for the 21st century. It's mission and vision is to promote safe, environmentally sound, successful railroad transportation and to encourage new policies and investments in infrastructure and advanced technology to meet the current and future needs of all customers.
