AN APPROACH TO ECONOMIC TUG DESIGN

The paper suggests one approach to establish bollard pull requirements and, ultimately, basic design parameters with some suggestions to assist the designers to verify their conclusions. Displacement and dimensions, cost comparisons, and stability are considered.
