SEA ICE-75. FLAR, ODAR SHIP'S RADAR

The report describes results from a field test on sea ice mapping by radar in the Gulf of Bothnia, March 1975. Three different types of radar were used: forward looking Airborne Search Radar (FLAR), Omnidirectional Helicopterborne Search Radar (ODAR) and Shipborne Radars of the Icebreaker "TOR".
