DEVELOPMENT OF A PAVEMENT MAINTENANCE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM. VOLUME II. AIRFIELD PAVEMENT DISTRESS IDENTIFICATION MANUAL
This manual is designed to provide airfield pavement inspectors with a comprehensive reference for pavement distress identification. The information is to be used in conjunction with procedures presented in Volume I of this report to determine pavement condition and maintenance and repair requirements. The types of airfield pavement distress are listed alphabetically under the major categories of asphalt- or tar-surfaced pavements and jointed concrete pavements. Names, describptions, severity levels, photographs, and measurement or count criteria are presented for each distress type. (Author)
