GEOTECHNICAL PROPERTIES OF FINE GRAINED FILLING
FINLORNIG FYLLNINGS GEOTEKNISKA EGENSKAPER
This report describes investigations concerning supervision of the properties of compacted boulder clay, supervision of filling materials, boulder clay filling in dry conditions (properties of settlement, oedometer tests and literature surveys), injection of boulder clay and boulder clay filling in wet conditions. In addition there is a summary of lectures on the subject of filling. The investigations have shown that there is a lack of knowledge of boulder clay and clayey moraine soil fillings. The report suggests continued research, with the purpose of establishing standard specifications. /TRRL/
