CONCRETE STRUCTURES: REPAIR WATERPROOFING AND PROTECTION

The book discusses the basic principles of repair to a wide range of building and civil engineering structures and gives recommendations on methods of repair. The subject is covered in the following chapters: (1) the principal materials used in the repair of all types of concrete structures, (2) factors controlling the deterioration of concrete, steel and other metals used in concrete structures, (3) repairs to concrete building structures, (4) repairs to concrete water-retaining and water-excluding structures, (5) repairs to concrete marine structures, and (6) protection of concrete structures against chemical attack. Appendices contain information on codes of practice and standards in english-speaking countries and the majority of eec countries.
