A VALIDATION STUDY OF TRANSYT AND ROSIM
The traffic control systems Transyt and Rosim are briefly described. The systems have been used to study a traffic network in Malmoe, Sweden. The Transyt model gave a more accurate description of the traffic pattern than Rosim. It was proved that the traffic characteristics of the network could be significantly improved by adjusting the original had settings according to the Transyt optimization procedure. /TRRL/
