SOME AREAS OF POTENTIAL ENERGY CONSERVATION IN AUSTRALIA
Australia is in a favourable position in terms of energy resources but will have to share them with other countries. For this reason we will also have to adopt an energy conservation attitude. Of the three types of energy use: industrial, low-grade heat and transportation, each is broadly responsible for one-third of the total energy consumption in Australia. Four case studies of the energy conservation potential have been made; three in the transportation and one in the industrial sector. Quantitative assessments have been included. (A) /TRRL/
