ROLE ET IMPORTANCE DE L'INDUSTRIE DES EQUIPEMENTS DANS LA CONSTRUCTION AUTOMOIBLE

Most pieces which vehicles are composed of, are not directly produced by the car manufacturer's works. Such pieces which have specific functions are supplied by specialized makers whose manufacturing potential and research department are able to produce highly evolved units. Studies carried out by the equipment manufacturers yielded important technical innovations. In the field of lighting and signalling, new designed devices have made their appearance as well as new light sources, new beam patterns, new functions, lighting maintenance devices with the subsequent developments vehicles characteristics and style. It is important to favour the dynamism of this industry which must not be considered as sub-contract industry. /Author/TRRL/
