THE ECONOMICS OF ARCTIC PETROLEUM RESOURCES
A comprehensive analytical framework has been developed at M.I.T. for determining that combination of production schedule and transportation system which will maximize the after-tax profits to investors in the petroleum reservoirs at Prudhoe Bay, Alaska, given a set of user supplied input variables describing the geologic, economic, legal, and financial characteristics of the problem. Computational experience and representative outputs are discussed.
