RECUPERATION ET VALORISATION DES CENDRES DES CENTRALES THERMIQUES

Each year power plants produce approximately 4 million tonnes of ash in various forms in France. This material can be used in cement, concrete, and mixtures utilized in road construction; it improves the workability, compaction, resistance to aggressive water, and the mechanical strength of the product to which it is added, and it leads to savings in materials, energy and storage. /TRRL/
