BRIDGE UNDER REPAIR BUT OPEN TO TRAFFIC
Engineers replaced the concrete deck with fabricated bridge flooring. Each flooring grid panel came in the standard 5-inch-deep design of high-strength, corrosion-resistant A-588 steel (70,000 tensile). Each panel had bracing and reinforcing bars, and was welded by self-shielding flux-cored electrode wire for welding grids to spacers.
