ADDRESS BY THE HONORABLE RODNEY E. SLATER, SECRETARY OF TRANSPORTATION OF THE UNITED STATES
The Secretary of Transportation of the U.S., Rodney E. Slater, discusses the current and future state of intermodal transportation in North America. Emphasis is on the importance of an international transportation system -- since NAFTA was signed, American exports have grown 37 percent to Mexico and 34 percent to Canada. Intermodal is the fastest growing sector in freight transportation in America.
