RECENT DEVELOPMENTS IN ROLL STABILIZATION
Typical arrangement of fins on a ship are shown, and measurement of fin performance is discussed. Reasons for reduced fin performance are summarized, and reference is made to results obtained with a frigate. Stabilization by rudder is considered.
