CENTRIFUGAL BLAST CLEANING OF SURFACES FOR PAINTING
Criteria to determine the degree of cleaning achieved and various considerations involved in selecting an abrasive cleaning method are discussed. Characteristics of stationary systems for centrifugal abrasive cleaning of structural steel are given and installations illustrated. Application of air and airless blasting methods to ship decks and hulls in drydock and elsewhere is discussed.
