MOSS - MODELLING SYSTEMS
The moss system is a completely new approach to the use of computers for solving a wide range of problems in the engineering and planning fields and exploits the sophistication of current computing machinery. The paper shows that the data structures adopted in moss are fundamental in concept and have allowed the integration of many applications into one system. The application of moss to a range of problems, including aerial survey and ground surveying, highway design and spatial information systems is described. /TRRL/
