DESIGN CRITERIA AND RESEARCH NEEDS
Design criteria and research needs are discussed in view of the possibility of the occurrence of an extreme flood event, such as Hurricane Agnes. Various views on these topics are presented by spokesmen from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, the U.S. Geological Survey, the Federal Highway Administration, the Texas Highway Department, and Pennsylvania State Unviersity.
