RESULTS OF APPLICATIONS DEMONSTRATED IN THE HANNIBAL PROJECT'S SESTRIERE DEMONSTRATION
This paper outlines the main results achieved by the HANNIBAL project in the framework of the Sestriere Demonstration. It presents the system designed for managing mobility during the 1997 World Ski Championships at Sestriere, Italy, including a description of the most relevant transport telematics systems used. The most significant results are described in terms of impact of the system functionality on the mobility behaviour during the event and on final users' acceptance. For the covering abstract, see IRRD 490001.
