AN UPDATE ON SYNTHETIC OILS
The use of one barrel of extended-drain-interval synthetic engine oil may save over six barrels of crude oil, as reduced engine friction can yield fuel economy improvements of 5%. Widespread use of synthesized oil carries the potential for significant savings in energy and petroleum supplies. /GMRL/
