SMOKE CONTROL IN TUNNELS BY ELECTROSTATIC PRECIPITATOR
Laboratory tests and a full scale test performed in Norway have indicated that the electrostatic filter can control the smoke from a car or a truck fire in a tunnel. The smoke will not get totally distributed through the lelngth of the tunnel, and the tunnel air will keep high visibility.
