ON WAVE-MAKING MECHANISM OF SHIP HULL FORMS GENERATED FROM UNDULATORY SOURCE DISTRIBUTIONS
This paper deals with the kind of ship hull forms, whose generating source is undulatorily distributed amidship through the ends of a ship. So-called xi correction, a kind of reduction function for the source strength partially applied, i. e. just for wave making, not for hull generating, shows a better coincidence between tank results and calculation.
