1996 PERFORMANCE EVALUATION OF FLORIDA TRANSIT SYSTEMS. PART III DEMAND-RESPONSE TREND ANALYSIS 1984-1996
This report is part 3 of the four-part series that examines both fixed route and demand-response services throughout Florida. The report covers the fixed-route transit modes and begins with a brief discussion of the purposes of performance review, the performance review database, and the role of privatization. Next, it provides a summary of statewide directional trends for key indicators, followed by an analysis of the demand-response total trend. It also presents the demand-response modal performance trend for each of the included Florida transit systems over a 13-year time period (1984-1996). A variety of tabular and graphical data are included which portray the changes in several performance, effectiveness, and efficiency measures from the years 1984 to 1996.
