A LABORATORY MODEL TO INVESTIGATE THE SOIL MOISTURE CONDITIONS ON A DRAINING SLOPE
A laboratory slope drainage model constructed in order to test results obtained by Hewlett and Hibbert who have suggested unsaturated flow to be the dominant flow mechanism at the later stages of drainage. The results from the model, together with hydraulic conductivity determinations, indicate the slope discharge to be controlled by saturated flow throughout drainage. /Author/
