OPTIMAL FILTERING TECHNIQUES FOR HYDROLOGICAL FORECASTING
The use of an axisymmetric psuedo-unconfined pumping-test digital model to simulate intergranular flow in an unconfined aquifer, due to a single-well pumping at a constant rate, is justified theoretically. The digital model is further validated by comparison with known steady-state case studies and time-variant analytical solution. The computational effort required for the digital model is small. /Author/
