LPG CARRIER WITH INTERNAL TANK INSULATION

The 55 843 tdw LNG carrier "Pioneer Louise" has a length oa of 228.00 m, a beam of 36.60 m, a draft of 11.45 m and is powered by two Mitsubishi M.A.N. type 52/55 medium speed diesel engines, one 12 cylinder and one 14 cylinder with a service rating of 23 400 bhp at 415 rpm, propeller rpm is 115 rpm giving a service speed of 17.1 knots. All stiffening for the double-hull is within the ballast tanks and cofferdams thus leaving the cargo tank interior surfaces completely free. Cargo capacity is 77 861 cubic meters.
