LEY 51/1974 DE CARRETERAS

This document reproduces the text of the new road law passed in Spain, which regulates all aspects of the different categories of highway, including their planning, construction, maintenance, financing and operation. It defines the concepts of highway and motorway. Special attention is paid to the chapter on financing. Mention is made of the future fiscal policy which will affect transport vehicles with a view to distributing road network costs more equitably. /TRRL/
