STRUCTURAL ANALYSIS BY MEANS OF MATRICES. USE OF SUBSTRUCTURES. COMBINED METHOD
ANALYSIS MATRICIAL DE ESTRUCTURAS. UTILIZACION DE SUBESTTRUCTURAS METODO COMBINADO
A design method is presented, in which the original structure is divided into a number of substructures. The latter are analyzed by means of the method of forces, assuming that the substructures are resting on bearing devices and are subjected to external loads and displacements. The remaining substructures, subjected to their own external loads and the action of the other substructures, are analyzed by means of the displacement method. In this method, contrary to the gvosdev method, the equations of the two methods are treated separately. Examples are given. /TRRL/
