WAVE FORCES ON SINGLE AND ARRAYED OIL STORAGE TANKS (EXPERIMENTAL STUDY)
Forces induced by the surface waves on submerged bottle shaped tank models in staggered and checked array were measured in a wave channel. Wave forces exerted on arrayed models were discussed in comparison with those on a single model. From the point of wave forces, round tanks in staggered array may be recommended.
