OFFSHORE STORAGE
Various types of facilities for offshore storage of crude oil are discussed, and economic relationships among the important factors affecting costs of storage and shipping are presented: required storage capacity, distance from shore, depth of water, flow rates, etc. For a decision on any particular installation an evaluation is required of all factors involved in the origin-to-destination system.
