SCANDINAVIAN IMPLANT TESTING PROJECT

NORDISKA IMPLANTPROJEKTET

The article presents results of a joint effort of the four Scandinavian countries in the development of a system of testing the resistance of welds to cracking by using the implant test method. The results provide a basis for optimum selection of steel, welding technique, weld filler metals, and operational conditions in welding.
