BRIDGE TO BRIDGE RADIOTELEPHONES - NEW U.S.A. LEGISLATION
Recently the "Vessel Bridge to Bridge Radiotelephone Act" was passed in the United States. This act provides for the mandatory carriage of an efficient radiotelephone aboard most vessels navigating in U.S. waters. It is believed that the new law will be instrumental in increasing the safety of navigation and decreasing the rate of ship collisions.
