METHOD OF OBTAINING ASH-FREE ADDITIVES FOR {LUBRICATING OILS

A known method of obtaining ash-free additives for lubricating oils based on imides of alkenylsuccinic acids consists in processing alkenylsuccinic anhydride with amino derivatives of hydrocarbons - polyalkylene amines. The proposed method is distinguished from the previous in that amino derivatives of 1,3-dioxane are used as the amino derivatives of hydrocarbons. This method makes it possible to improve the quality of the additive; the synthesized additives possess anticorrosion and detergent properties.(Author)
