LIMITING HEIGHT OF NONBREAKING AND BREAKING WAVES ON COASTAL STRUCTURES
The effect of the reflectivity of the proposed structure is considered for the selection of the design wave height for a coastal structure. The results presented indicate that the limiting height of breaking and nonbreaking waves increases with an increase in the bottom slope and is increased when the coastal structure is more reflective.
