NEW METHOD FOR THE PREDICTION OF PROPELLER THRUST

The author shows that the propeller thrust can be divided into two parts in the same way as the ship resistance using the dimensionless thrust coefficient. According to this, the necessary propeller thrust of the ship can be exactly determined by a linear extrapolation of the measured results of two different models.
