A CONTRIBUTION TO THE DESIGN OF COMPOSITE BEAMS TO SATISFY DEFLEXION CRITERIA
In this paper a method is given which facilitates the design of composite steel-concrete beams. Graphs are developed for establishing suitable span to depth ratios which will ensure that stipulated deflexion criteria can be satisfied. Allowance for the shrinkage effect of the concrete has been made. /Author/TRRL/
