ENVIRONMENTAL EXPERTS AND ENGINE DEVELOPMENT
The paper surveys the problems arising from the development of engines to meet lower pollutant levels and aims to show the type of educational disciplines and technology employed. It reviews the various pollutants emitted, some methods of control, and discusses how legislative requirements have influenced the whole approach to engine development.
