INCREASING EFFECTIVENESS BY GROUP DISCUSSION AND PARTICIPATION
In most large organizations top management simply doesn't know what subordinate managers are doing, or how effectively they are spending their time. This paper opens with this controversial statement and then suggests a practical method of establishing strategic priorities and key performance areas which involved group discussion and participation. It is claimed that this new method offers distinct advantages over more orthodox approaches.
